Salsa Veloce Di Pomodoro

Quick Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

34 oz. Plum tomatoes, peeled, juices and seeds removed
2 Garlic cloves, chopped
14 Fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces
½ cup Olive Oil
3 tsp. Salt
3 tsp. Black pepper

To prepare the Sauce:

To serve as a cold sauce, combine ingredients together in a bowl, mix well and serve over pasta or with fish. To serve hot, combine ingredients in a large saucepan and cook for five minutes over medium heat.
