| 34 oz. | Plum tomatoes, peeled, juices and seeds removed |
| 2 | Garlic cloves, chopped |
| 14 | Fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces |
| ½ cup | Olive Oil |
| 3 tsp. | Salt |
| 3 tsp. | Black pepper |
To serve as a cold sauce, combine ingredients together in a bowl, mix well and serve over pasta or with fish. To serve hot, combine ingredients in a large saucepan and cook for five minutes over medium heat.
